Tina Jahromi’s beauty & artistic journey began at a young age in her family’s salon business, near Seattle Washington, U.S.A. She literally learned from behind the scenes and the ground up, while assisting with receptionist duties, and supporting the various stylists and educators in both the Salon/Boutique and Beauty Academy locations. She attended the (previously required) 2,000 hour Cosmetology Licensing Program, during her Junior & Senior years of secondary school, and completed her Washington State Board Exam certification shortly after receiving her High School Diploma at the age of 17.
While pursuing a two year apprenticeship with a renowned Barber Stylist, Tina was given the opportunity to manage and co-own/operate, a new salon in a large, local Hotel & Conference Center.
While this was a successful and an amazing business experience, Tina wished to broaden her knowledge of the emerging Day Spa industry and so partnered with her mother, a pioneer in the Aesthetics field, to open the first full service Day Spa in the Pacific Northwest, offering Hydrotherapy, Thalassotherapy, Aesthetics, Hair & Yoga experiences. This venture then led to further opportunities to travel and offer Spa education throughout North & Central America as a Spa Therapist & Beauty Consultant.
After immigrating to Canada, Tina briefly stepped back from the hands-on aspect of the industry to raise her family, however, continued to explore the study of Holistic & Wellness Therapies.
During this time, she also launched an Artisan Jewelry design business using ethically & sustainably sourced materials to combine the gifts of Mother nature's treasures, with health and well-being.
She re-entered the industry in 2008, with such gratitude and joy for the opportunity to reconnect with her colleagues as a national Spa Educator for a world renowned beauty brand, while continuing to share the gifts of health and well-being with her amazing clients through the use of prestigious product lines & holistic, intentional services.
Among thousands of nominees throughout the province, Tina received further distinction as a finalist for Beautician of the Year at both the 2018 & 2019 BC Hair & Beauty Awards, earning representation for Best of Vancouver Island, and Day Spa of the Year consecutively.
While 2020-2021 brought the world to its knees, Tina found the drive to continue with her desire to delve deeper into healing modalities and completed the intensive online Perfect Health Ayurvedic Lifestyle Teacher Certification through the globally renowned Chopra Center.
She has added Ayurvedic Lifestyle education to her repertoire of professional services.
After nearly four decades, she continues to pursue her commitment to excellence, and is honored to continue to share her passion for learning, aesthetics, wellness, & creativity, virtually and in person.
